The mission of Sterling Montessori is to create a diverse educational community, grounded in the Montessori philosophy and teaching practices, that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in its students. We strive to empower each student to become life-long learners who respect themselves, others and their environment.

Academy

Sterling's Tuition-based program serving students PK3 and PK4

Sterling is comprised of two separate educational entities. The Academy serves children 3 and 4 years of age, and is a tuition-based, pre-school program.  Academy students are joined with Charter kindergarter students, in a mixed-age Children's House classroom.

PRESCHOOL ACADEMY (Pre-K3 & Pre-K4)

At Sterling Montessori, our 3-6 year-old classrooms are a mix of students from our Preschool Academy with students from our Charter Kindergarten. Please not that enrollment in our private Preschool does not guaratee enrollment in our Charter Kindergarten (see Charter Enrollment and Lottery Information).

Preschool is a very important stepping stone to your child's future. It is one of the most important ingredients to becoming all that you can be. It is through the use of the hands-on Montessori materials that students are learning how to think, make good choices and learn to act with purpose through play, lessons and activities that will prepare them for kindergarten.

To learn more, visit our Academy Enrollment page that details viewing informational videos, setting up an on-campus tour and to read more about our Montessori Academy Program.

**Please note that students applying for Pre-K3 or Pre-K4 seats

are not given any priority or afforded an exemption for the

Charter Kindergarten Lottery.**
