1) LEARN MORE ABOUT THE MONTESSORI CHILDREN'S HOUSE PROGRAM AT STERLING MONTESSORI

2). ATTEND AN ON-CAMPUS TOUR WITH OUR DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN'S HOUSE AFTER you watch the Curriculum Tour and Information Session.
ON-CAMPUS TOURS are offered throughout the year on weekdays at 4:30pm. The purpose of this tour is to answer your questions and help you decide if Sterling Montessori is the right fit for your child and family.

It is important for prospective parents to understand the Montessori Children's House program prior to turning in an application for the preschool program. Topics of these include the Montessori philosophy and approach, readiness expectations of the child, and why Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarteners are together in a classroom.
3) SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
Complete a 2025/26 Application. Please make sure to include the $25 Application Fee, made payable to Sterling Montessori Academy and Charter School. If applying for multiple birth children (twins, triplets, etc.), please submit separate applications and fees, but please place them in the same envelope.
We ask that you use only DARK BLUE or BLACK ink on checks for readability.
**Note: Only checks or money orders are accepted as payment for the non-refundable $25 application fee. Credit card, cash and online payments are not accepted.

4) WAITING POOL
Applicants are placed in a waiting pool, not a waiting list. If and when we have a seat to offer, we will select a student from the waiting pool based on the following criteria: staff & sibling preference, family previously enrolled at Sterling, previous Montessori experience (we require additional information as to where Montessori experience was acquired), and needs of the classroom(s).
5) OFFER OF ENROLLMENT
Once an offer of enrollment is extended, families will have 3 days to notify Sterling of your acceptance. All required registration paperwork, contract and fees must be submitted to Sterling within 3 days of accepting our offer.
Enrollment is offered on a rolling basis. Students are accepted when spaces become available throughout the current academic year.
